Joachim Voumard has been a tax adviser at LE/AX Avocats since January 2023. He developed his tax expertise at a major audit and tax advisory firm before joining the cantonal tax administration of the Canton of Geneva. Having gained experience in both the private and public sectors, he places particular emphasis on providing practical, solution-oriented advice and recommendations.
In the course of his practice, Joachim Voumard has developed particular expertise in corporate taxation, notably in matters relating to restructurings, acquisitions, business transfers and the sale of companies. He also represents and advises clients in the context of audits conducted by cantonal and federal tax authorities.
He therefore advises and defends the interests of a wide range of clients, from start-ups and SMEs to holding companies and international groups.
In addition, Joachim Voumard regularly advises private individuals on matters relating to their personal taxation, whether they are self-employed or salaried, subject to lump-sum taxation, or involved in immigration to or departure from Switzerland. He also assists clients with succession planning and the organisation of their personal assets.
He further advises clients in connection with real estate acquisitions, the establishment of real estate companies and property sales, as well as the implementation of structures tailored to the needs of each individual.
